The family is off to their annual vacation in Montana with Jesse's side of the family. It's a tiny little town of less than 1,000 but do they go big for this national holiday! A parade, a rodeo and real fireworks instead of drones. Add to that the 4 wheel UTV (utility task vehicle), a dirt bike, rifles, ten acres to explore and a creek ... this tradition still appeals to teenagers.

As owners of a nursery, the parents have plant loving friends checking every other day (then even have someone to come to the condo to water.)
I look forward having the whole space to myself and having a few little projects. So far, I have steam cleaned the oven, ran the dishwasher on "self clean" and have organized the kitchen counters. Today's plan is to replenish herbs and spices and put them back in alphabetical order so I don't have to look through ten bottles (that never have the name in plain view)(I'm surprised I don't have carpal tunnel syndrome).

The laundry is caught up and I bleached my summer whites and WOW I needed sunglasses to hang them to finish drying!

Some nights I have a nice sit down dinner with orange dijon mustard chicken skewer, half an ear of corn and a caprese salad. Last night I had brie, baguette and cantaloupe. And champagne!
